The Credential Ladder

Every Guild designation on one page — what it proves, how it is examined, and what it costs. Prices are public because trust is not a quote. Eleven families, from hire-ready sales floor to Guild Master.

How Guild assessment works

The Guild examines

Independent, assessment-based certification. The Guild does not teach — it sets the standard, runs the examination, and publishes the result.

Providers teach

Prepare anywhere: any school, any employer programme, any self-study route. Preparation is irrelevant to the exam — only the demonstration counts.

The register proves

Every awarded designation lands in the public register — free, instant, anyone can check. No continuing-education compliance, the entry greys out.

Exam formats: T written theory · P practical with real stones and tools · V oral viva with external examiners · Portfolio evidenced work. Each stage examines named skill modules at a proficiency floor (PL1 entry → PL5 mastery).

The exam-only firewall: every assessment can be purchased and sat without any course, from any provider, forever. A credential that can only be earned through one school's classes is a marketing certificate — this is not that.

Stage prices in Singapore dollars, one-time per sitting. Renewal S$60–120/yr per post-nominal (see below).

Renewal: S$60–120/yr per post-nominal, tied to continuing-education compliance — lapse it and the register entry greys out (it never silently disappears; the history stays honest).
Enterprise: private sittings S$800/day · −10% from 50 sittings · −20% from 200/yr.
